Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Knowledge of nursing best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Current RN Licensure in the State employed.
- Valid CPR Certification.

- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide Outstanding Resident Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans. Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Serve as a clinical leader and support nursing staff throughout the shift.
- Manage Medications & Treatments: Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Monitor and document resident responses to medications. Identify and communicate adverse drug reactions and medication concerns. Initiate enteral or parenteral therapies as ordered. Maintain accurate narcotic records and medication documentation. Coordinate pharmaceutical orders and ensure medication availability.
- Ensure Accurate Documentation & Compliance: Complete assessments, physician orders, progress notes, flowsheets, care plans, and other required documentation. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records. Follow all federal, state, and facility guidelines, policies, and nursing standards. Protect resident rights and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Respond with Confidence: Assess and intervene during changes in resident condition. Implement emergency measures when needed. Direct and perform CPR and other critical interventions. Use sound clinical judgment to make timely decisions that support resident safety and well-being.
