About The Position

Affirmed Home Care, based in New Jersey, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a unique private-duty assignment requiring travel with a client to Florida. This opportunity is ideal for an RN who enjoys one-on-one care, meaningful patient relationships, and providing personalized support in a home setting. The position involves a live-in assignment from November 2026 through April 2027, where the RN will travel to Florida with the client and stay in the client’s home providing one-on-one private-duty care. Responsibilities include medication management, supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, companionship and engagement in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation, transportation to medical appointments, errands, and dining, regular communication with the client’s POA regarding care, and advocacy and support for the client. A male RN is preferred based on client request. Highly competitive compensation is offered for this unique opportunity.

Requirements

Active New Jersey RN license
Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in acute care or home care
Current BLS certification
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Authorized to work in the United States
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with a live-in assignment and extended stay in Florida
