About The Position

Providence is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PEDS infusion department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. The position is part-time at 0.8 FTE, with 8-hour day shifts and 34 hours per week. The nurse will apply specialized training to deliver patient-focused, whole-person care and contribute to Providence’s mission of caring for everyone, especially the most vulnerable in the community. Applicants who meet the qualifications will receive additional screening questions through HireVue.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider PALS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-focused, whole-person care using specialized nursing training.
• Provide care in the PEDS infusion department.
