About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact. The RN provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes assessing patient needs on an ongoing basis and revising care plans in response to changes in patient condition. The RN also provides daily clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• Obtain CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and keep it current throughout employment.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
• Provide care and services that support patients’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Assess patient needs on an ongoing basis and revise care plans when patient conditions change.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
