Registered Nurse (RN) Youth Recovery Center Full-Time NIGHTS
About The Position
The Youth Recovery Center (YRC) is a unique, in-hospital residential treatment center that helps adolescents ages 15-18 work through addiction recovery and address mental health needs. YRC is looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) with a special interest in the adolescent population to join our Youth Recovery team! This is a full-time, NIGHT shift position. Shifts are 3 12-hour NIGHT shifts a week with rotating weekends. Come make a difference in our community and work at an Independent Hospital, located on the Western Slope of Colorado! We work to keep our community members in their hometown while they heal. Located between Denver and Grand Junction on the I-70 Corridor. Minutes from Vail and Aspen.
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain required
- 1 year experience working as a Registered Nurse required.
- Minimum of 1 year RN work experience, preferable in the areas of Acute Care, Psychiatric, or Addiction preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assesses level of risk and makes appropriate clinical judgment for resolution of client emergencies resulting in a safe outcome.
- Must be able and willing to participate in recreation activities with clients
- Must be willing to gain skills in substance abuse, mental health, and adolescent health.
