About The Position

This role involves leading comprehensive patient care by implementing and adapting personalized care plans that prioritize safety, recovery, and the unique needs of every individual. The nurse will champion patient advocacy as the primary clinical coordinator, bridging the gap between multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and holistic healing experience. They will also drive clinical excellence by accurately monitoring and communicating shifts in patient conditions, ensuring the medical team has the real-time data needed for life-saving decisions. Additionally, the nurse will empower patient transitions by strategically managing the discharge planning process, ensuring patients and their families feel confident and supported as they move to the next stage of care.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
