About The Position

The Emergency Department at Logan Health is seeking compassionate, skilled, and resilient Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team. This role is within a 32-bed Emergency Department, a Level III Trauma Center and regional referral hub serving northwest Montana. The emergency team cares for patients of all ages and treats a diverse range of medical, surgical, pediatric, and trauma conditions. Emergency nurses are challenged to think critically, act decisively, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic environment. Requirements

Current Montana RN license (or compact license) required
CPR/BLS certification required
ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer
ENPC & TNCC within 1 year of hire/transfer
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Nice To Haves

Previous Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
Respond calmly and efficiently to changes in patient conditions
Implement provider orders and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patients’ physical and mental status
Maintain high standards of infection prevention and patient safety
Anticipate care needs and coordinate timely interventions
Collaborate closely with the night shift care team to ensure seamless patient care
