This role provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents. The Registered Nurse obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete. They notify the physician and responsible party of changes in resident status. This role provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced. The Registered Nurse completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment. They also prepare and administer medications and treatments as needed.
