About The Position

We are seeking seasonal per diem staff to join our team for fall vaccine clinics! This year we are looking to staff various clinics including: 5M: Clinics are expected to run from September 14th through November 13th, 2026, Monday-Friday, with one Saturday and one Sunday this season. Available shifts will be offered in 5 hour increments between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. School Clinics will take place on Saturday mornings vaccinating school aged children through adults. Dates to be determined. Staff will need to provide at least 10 hours of availability per week. Please note: hour requirements cannot be met with weekend only sign-ups; you must plan to cover 5M as well.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in New Hampshire required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports vaccine clinic operations by assisting with patient flow, verifying information, preparing patients for vaccination, administering vaccines per standing orders and organizational policy, documenting vaccine administration in the medical record, monitoring patients during the post-vaccination observation period, and helping maintain clinic supplies and workflow.
  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
  • Utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, taking action to modify the plan of care or to elevate to the care team as necessary.
  • Practices in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics to advocate for patients, uphold their autonomy in decision-making, ensure informed consent and assist patients in families in expressing self-determination.
  • Actively seeks feedback and acts to improve performance.
  • Engages in the governance of practice.
  • Manages interpersonal relationships for self and with others.
  • Mentors colleagues for the advancement of nursing practice and the profession.
  • Assumes authority and accountability for the nursing care of patients while appropriately delegating elements of care to others members of the care delivery team in accordance with laws, regulations and policies and procedures.
  • Prioritizes and organizes time to optimize patient outcomes.
