About The Position

Atrium Health Pineville Day Surgery department cares for both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. Day Surgery nurses are responsible for preoperative preparation of surgical patients and the phase II recovery and discharge for patients who are leaving the facility following surgery. There are 24 individual patient care bays, access to two medication rooms with Omnicells, and a centralized nurse’s station. Teammates work closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to deliver excellent care to our patients. Pineville Periop Services consistently has some of the top patient satisfaction scores in all of the greater Charlotte area and a high teammate retention rate. We offer a great culture with great leadership support. Leadership structure includes three clinical supervisors, one of which is primarily focused on education, and a unit manager.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
