Requirements

Current RN license in NJ. - We accept compact licenses
Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certifications.
One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred.
Background in substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

Instruct and guide LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments.
Complete initial nursing assessments with new admissions.
Administer medications as prescribed. Apply knowledge and deliver detox protocols.
Complete COWS (Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale) and CIWA (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment) scales per protocol.
Provide medication education to clients.
Coordinate and support medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments.
Maintain medical equipment in proper working order.
Ensure confidentiality and proper professional boundaries are maintained.
Perform other duties as assigned.
