About The Position

Mapleview Country Villa is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse to provide care to residents requiring ventilator and complex respiratory support. The role involves post-acute and long-term care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• Ventilator, tracheostomy, or critical care experience preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or step-down unit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents requiring ventilator, tracheostomy, and respiratory support.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond appropriately to respiratory emergencies and changes in resident status.
• Supervise LPNs and STNAs/CNAs as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
