About The Position
We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing program.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Proof of current CPR certification.
- Compassionate, friendly demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients in their homes for one-on-one visits.
- Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify home health patients’ physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
- Assess patients’ conditions, chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks, including taking vital signs and reviewing medications.
- Educate patients and their families on home health care strategies and procedures, and recommend devices or tools that may improve patients’ quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with patients or clients, family members, team members, and other health care professionals.
