About The Position

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Redding, CA. This is a 12-week assignment with shifts available for days and nights. The role involves providing direct patient care, performing assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional, compassionate care. Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC required upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation required upon hire.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting required.

Responsibilities

• Performs triage, assessment, and patient monitoring
• Develops and implements care plans using the nursing process
• Administers medications and emergency treatments
• Communicates patient status with physicians and care team
• Educates patients and families on care and discharge
• Supervises support staff and coordinates care
• Maintains accurate EMR documentation and compliance
• Participates in trauma response and critical care stabilization
• Promotes patient safety and best practices
• Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department
