About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides age- and developmentally appropriate care in the Emergency Department in accordance with unit standards of care. This is a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging nursing position requiring collaboration with multidisciplinary team members from various hospital specialties. The schedule is three 12-hour mid/evening shifts, 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., on days of the week not specified. The position is seasonal at Methodist Southlake Medical Center, a 54-bed acute care hospital serving communities in North Texas.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 2 years of RN work experience.
