About The Position

Franciscan Care Center is hiring Registered Nurses to provide care in its facility. The role involves independently supervising care delivery to a group of residents in a nursing unit, assessing residents’ needs, developing individual care plans, administering and evaluating nursing care, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants and other personnel. The position offers a wage of $47.00–$53.99 per hour and is scheduled for PRN holiday and weekend coverage. New RNs are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• RN clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary to provide quality care.
• Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Proven decision-making and analytical skills.
• Ability to relate positively, favorably, and cooperatively with employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities
