Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam
• 1 year of current clinical experience
• 20 contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused. Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.
• RN License
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire

Responsibilities

• Independently provide care to adult patients in various medical and surgical subspecialty units.
• Provide evidence-based, high quality care.
• Perform patient assessment and treatment.
• Serve as a resource for other team members.
