About The Position

North Westchester Restorative Therapy and Nursing is seeking dedicated per diem Registered Nurses to join their growing team. The per diem RN supports patient care delivery through routine tasks such as medication administration and ensuring continuity of care across all shifts. They must comply with all state requirements and facility policies, procedures and standards of conduct. The role requires the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to individualized needs, guide staff, and ensure tasks are completed. The Registered Nurse administers nursing care to the ill, injured or disabled residents, monitors and reports changes in residents’ symptoms and behavior, and communicates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and/or physicians. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Reliable transportation
• Demonstrate excellent work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Minimum working requirement: One (1) weekend per month
