About The Position
The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The nurse manages care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Nursing practice reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia, in good standing and without limitations.
- Certified in American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- Additional life support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
- Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
