RN Registered Nurse Night Shift
About The Position
Registered Nurse Night Shift (Floor RN – Psychiatric & Substance Use Disorder Facility) Location: 4770 Larimer Parkway, Johnstown, Colorado Pay Range: $41 - $52/hr Schedule: Full-Time Night 3 x 12's and every other weekend rotation About Us At SierraVista, our mission is to inspire hope and deliver holistic care to individuals facing acute psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders. Requirements
- Current RN license (in good standing). ADN considered with relevant experience.
- Must be 21 years or older.
Nice To Haves
- Prior psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience a plus, but not required—training provided.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care in a psychiatric and behavioral health setting
- Administering medications and closely monitoring patient responses overnight
- Responding to crises with confidence, using de-escalation and intervention techniques
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Accurately documenting patient progress and maintaining compliance with all standards
- Offering education and reassurance to patients, helping them stay on track toward long-term wellness
