Registered Nurse, Child and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health
About The Position
Sheppard Pratt Solutions is recruiting and hiring on behalf of Beverly Hospital, a Sheppard Pratt Partner. This role is based at Beverly Hospital in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and is part of the inpatient psychiatric program for children and adolescents. The Registered Nurse works with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to young patients experiencing mental health challenges. The position is on the evening shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., for 32–40 hours. The pay range is $37.08 to $56.83; compensation depends on factors including years and level of related experience as a registered nurse.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current registered nurse (RN) licensure to practice in Massachusetts.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an inpatient psychiatric nursing setting is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
- Lead and document therapeutic groups and interventions.
- Safely administer medications and manage crises using de-escalation techniques.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
