About The Position
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for their ASU unit. This position is part-time, working 32 hours per week, with flexible start times between 5 AM and Noon, and 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday. The role involves independently providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care, utilizing the nursing process, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The nurse will be responsible for patient outcomes, guiding unlicensed nursing personnel, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
- IL RN License
- CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association preferred
- CPAN/CAPA preferred
Responsibilities
- Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
- Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
- Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
- Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient.
- Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
- Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
