Pool Registered Nurse Seasonal Contract, BH Emergency Care at West Boca, Per Diem, 7P-7:30A
About The Position
The RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate proficiency and mastery of core competencies including assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The role delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing and promoting evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety, and service. This is a 12-week commitment in the Baptist Health Seasonal Nursing Pool, a temporary nursing position. Candidates must commit to floating to all areas within the hospital as needed or assigned, and working any three twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend for a total of 36 hours per week during the agreement period.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of experience.
- ASN degree.
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP per department standards.
- Possess a valid RN license eligible to practice in FL.
- Have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (dependent upon unit) certification by the AHA or American Red Cross.
- Commit to the 12-week seasonal nursing pool agreement period.
- Commit to working 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
