About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking full-time Registered Nurses to join their evening or night shift team at Baldwin State Prison in Hardwick, Georgia. This role involves providing holistic, patient-centered nursing care to an incarcerated population. The Registered Nurse will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, identify, and respond to patients’ medical, mental health, and psychosocial needs. Baldwin State Prison serves incarcerated adult men and provides Level III mental health services, a 17-bed infirmary, on-site specialty clinics, and mental health support for six facilities. Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing required.
- Active Georgia RN license or an active multistate/compact RN license authorizing practice in Georgia.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain required security clearance, including successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
- Availability to work the selected evening or night shift, including rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, patient-centered nursing care to an incarcerated population within the RN scope of practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, identify, and respond to patients’ medical, mental health, and psychosocial needs.
- Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care.
- Complete nursing assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes.
- Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow established safety, security, and infection control procedures.
