About The Position

At Morningstar Living, we believe exceptional care starts with supported, engaged nurses. We are currently hiring a Part-time RN Medication Nurse / RN Supervisor to join our award-winning team at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth, PA. We are seeking an Registered Nurse for our evening shift, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m., working 40 hours per pay period. This unique position offers the opportunity to combine hands-on clinical nursing with nursing leadership responsibilities. The schedule includes three shifts as an RN Medication Nurse and two shifts as an RN Supervisor (every other weekend). You’ll work in a well-staffed, person-centered community alongside a collaborative team that values professionalism, accountability, clinical excellence, and work-life balance. Whether providing direct resident care or supporting the nursing team as an RN Supervisor, you’ll use your clinical judgment and leadership skills to help ensure high-quality care for our residents.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing Program.
Current RN licensure by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners.
Current CPR certification.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Understanding, patience, and tact when working with residents, families, and team members.
A caring, compassionate, and professional approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Provide daily nursing care to meet residents’ health, safety, and psychosocial needs.
Monitor residents’ conditions, respond to changes in status and emergencies, and communicate concerns to the appropriate clinical team members.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and review and update resident care plans as needed.
Support wound care, restorative nursing programs, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with nursing assistants and other members of the care team to promote effective communication and quality resident care.
When serving as RN Supervisor, provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff and help ensure safe, consistent delivery of care.
Foster a culture of safety and support compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and Morningstar Living policies and procedures.
