About The Position

Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PVBH is an 84 bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. PVBH has an excellent reputation as an innovative hospital with caring, dedicated staff, experienced in the delivery of behavioral healthcare. Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona. This Registered Nurse opportunity offers awesome weekend and night differentials plus great mid-week differentials for both 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts. Requirements

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing or baccalaureate program required.
Current licensure as a Registered nurse through the State of Arizona.
Certified in CPR upon hire and bi-annually thereafter.
Possess or obtain and be able to perform Handle With Care within 30 days of hire and re-certify as needed.
Complete all required mandatory in-services annually.
Possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain.
Tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire and as required thereafter.

Nice To Haves

Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
