Registered Nurse, Medical Intercare
About The Position
Baystate Health is seeking inpatient Registered Nurses for their Medical Intercare unit. This unit is a 42-bed Medical Stepdown unit that frequently cares for patients requiring advanced respiratory support, including trached vent dependent patients, Bipap/CPap rescue needs, and Hi Flow O2 delivery systems. The unit is equipped with bedside hemodynamic monitoring and 24-hour monitoring systems. It also includes 21 medical beds with telemetry capabilities and continuous O2 monitoring. The unit offers supportive, individualized, and tailored orientation and is part of the region's only academic medical center and Level 1 trauma center. Requirements
- Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing (Required)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association

Responsibilities
