About The Position

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for our Pulmonology Critical Care Clinic located at Medical Park Tower in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care, managing patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary healthcare teams, executing physician and nursing orders, and advocating for patients by assessing and coordinating their discharge planning needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

Nice To Haves

RN experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred
RN experience in Pulmonary or critical care preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care by consistently following established clinical protocols and organizational safety standards.
Manage and monitor individualized patient care plans, proactively tracking and communicating vital changes in patient conditions to the care team.
Coordinate multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless, well-aligned, and comprehensive care for every patient.
Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, ensuring accurate treatment delivery and patient safety.
Advocate for patients by assessing and coordinating their discharge planning needs early, ensuring a smooth and safe transition back to their communities.
