About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in outpatient dialysis clinics in Pella, Newton, and Ottumwa, Iowa. No dialysis experience is required; paid training is provided. Mileage and drive time are paid from the home clinic. The role involves working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, building long-term relationships with patients, and applying broad nursing skills to medically complex care. The nurse may float to nearby clinics, and a flexible schedule is required. Training may take place at a clinic other than the home location.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Reliable transportation for potential floating.
• Flexible schedule required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg preferred but not required.
• CNN/CDN certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
• Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in health.
• Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
• Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
• Float to nearby clinics as needed.
