Registered Nurse (RN) - ER
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room uses critical-thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role supports service and clinical excellence, patient safety, accurate documentation, professional growth and leadership, and the organization of patient-care activities. This is a full-time night-shift position at Delray Medical Center. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, paid over 24 months. Delray Medical Center is a 536-bed acute-care hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center serving southern Palm Beach County. It is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and offers specialized services including emergency care, cardiac and vascular care, orthopedics, neurosciences, and weight-loss surgery.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
- At least 1 year of ER RN experience.
- Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CPI certification within 30 days of hire.
- NIH Stroke certification within 60 days of hire.
- PALS certification: inexperienced candidates must obtain it within 90 days of hire or transfer; experienced candidates must have it at hire or transfer.
- TNCC certification: inexperienced candidates must obtain it within 2 years of hire or transfer.
