About The Position
In the Coordinated Clinic, you will be responsible for treating an outpatient population with a variety of cardiac specialties including Heart Failure, Lipid, Chest Pain, Cardiac Oncology, Watchman/Afib, Structural Heart, Adult Congenital, and Advanced Heart Failure. This includes drawing labs, starting IV's, administering medication and monitoring for response, administering EKG's and patient education.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 2 years of nursing experience on cardiac telemetry, ICU or ED required
