About The Position
Join Harborview Medical Center's teams of outstanding Psychiatry Registered Nurses. The unit serves patients with a variety of mental health diagnoses, co-occurring chemical dependency disorders, and medical needs, serving ages 18-99. Responsibilities include managing chronic and sub-acute medical conditions that may require additional treatment and education, as well as facilitating DBT skill building and CBT skills group therapy for patients.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Have/obtain a WA state nursing license to practice.
- One or more years in psych nursing or acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage chronic and sub-acute medical conditions that may require additional treatment and education.
- Facilitate DBT skill building.
- Conduct CBT skills group therapy for patients.
Benefits
- BSN or higher premium $1.00/hr
- Certification premium $1.25/hr
- Night shift differential $5.00/hr
- Weekend shift differential $4.00/hr
- Sunday night premium $3.00/hr
- Over time pay
