About The Position

The Registered Nurse assists physicians in the care and teaching of patients. The position requires an RN license in the state of residence, IV therapy experience, the ability to assess patient needs and condition, strong critical-thinking skills, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies. Current CPR certification is required. BLS certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days; FCS will provide a BLS course during that period. Candidates must be fluent in English, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and hold a valid driver license for travel to clinics. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory background screening. New hires must receive required vaccinations, including influenza, unless an exemption is approved, and are subject to drug testing. FCS is a drug-free workplace and does not recognize medical marijuana cards.

Requirements

Registered Nurse licensed in the state of residence.
Experience in IV therapy.
Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
Strong critical-thinking skills.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Current CPR certification.
BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days of employment; FCS provides a BLS course within the first 30 days.
Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
Clear background screening and successful drug testing as conditions of employment.
Required vaccinations, including influenza, unless an exemption is approved.
