About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required, and paid training is provided. The role involves direct patient care, monitoring patients and treatment plans, responding to changes in health, collaborating with a clinical team, and educating patients and families about kidney health and treatment options. The nurse may float to nearby clinics, and a flexible schedule is required. Training may take place at a clinic other than the employee’s home location.

The environment is fast-paced and hands-on, with opportunities to build long-term patient relationships and apply a broad range of nursing skills while caring for medically complex patients. The position is located at 1615 Eastchester Rd., Bronx, New York, 10461.

Requirements

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Reliable transportation for potential floating.
• Flexible schedule required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
• CNN or CDN certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.

• Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
