RN Progressive Care Unit Full Time Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) for night shifts (7pm-7am) and is benefit eligible. The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member. The PCU is a 32-bed intermediate level of care unit, bridging inpatient and critical care. While specializing in cardiovascular care, nurses will manage a variety of diagnoses including CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, and sepsis. Nurses work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent care for a high acuity population, cultivating and expanding assessment skills while managing specialized procedures and drips. New Graduate RNs and LPNs are welcome.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN License
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
