About The Position
4W Med-Surg Cardiac is a fast paced, stimulating environment for nurses who love to use their critical thinking and prioritization skills. Our floor offers a diverse, complex patient population that requires telemetry monitoring and interventions, respiratory support and heart failure measures. As a nurse you will gain experience in multiple different medication drips and procedures that a typical medical-surgical unit does not encounter. This floor is perfect for nurses who want to gain a vast array of knowledge, practice nursing skills and perfect their analytical thinking. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Previous nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures.
- Assess patient condition.
- Administer medications.
- Change dressings.
