About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the 5 CC East Day Hospital at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The Day Hospital is a fast-paced 32-bed medical-surgical short-stay unit serving nearly every service in the hospital, and it also includes a 4-chair infusion suite. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on the day shift. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• At least one year RN experience
