About The Position

Haven Homes, a Cassia community, is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents. The role includes administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents’ responses, documenting care, and collaborating with the care team to support positive outcomes. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled, team-oriented, and committed to enhancing the lives of older adults.

Available shifts are days from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or evenings from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, including every other weekend. The position is located at 4848 Gateway Blvd, Maple Plain, MN 55359. The wage range is $36–$44.22 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Hold a Minnesota RN license in good standing.
• Have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Be a self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Prior long-term care (LTC) experience.

Responsibilities

• Display a courteous attitude and respect for residents, families, and staff.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and monitor their effectiveness and residents’ responses.
• Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of items according to policies and procedures.
• Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notify the Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition, and take follow-up action as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as required.
