Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross BLS certification.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or Red Cross ALS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- One year of ICU or acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients using advanced monitoring equipment and technology.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and critical care protocols.
- Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and coordinate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with quality and safety standards.
- Advocate for patients and support families during challenging healthcare experiences.
