About The Position
The Recovery Village Columbus Drug and Alcohol Rehab (RVC) is seeking dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurses to join their TEAM in Columbus, OH. PRN Days (7a-7p) shifts are available. RVC is dedicated to connecting those struggling with substance use disorder to hope, providing multidisciplinary treatment delivered by compassionate physicians, clinicians, and addiction specialists. The facility is an 80-bed premier treatment center in Groveport, Ohio, offering a complete continuum of care from medical detox and inpatient treatment to outpatient care and aftercare. The Registered Nurse performs a wide variety of job duties, caring for and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions, establishing trust, and building rapport with patients and their families.
Requirements
- Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Licensed to practice in the State of licensure (RN), active and in good standing required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Behavioral health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients seeking addiction and mental health treatment
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
- Administer medications as indicated and monitor detoxification process
- Assess the medical and psychiatric needs of the patient, determine the urgency of their needs, and expedite treatment
- Educate patients about medications, health issues, and medical conditions
