About The Position
Centurion is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare services at Westville Correctional Facility in Westville, Indiana. The RN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs. The position is 24 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour night shifts and work every other weekend.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required.
- Active and appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
