About The Position

This role focuses on providing direct patient care, administering medications and treatments, supporting families, educating patients, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position is open to both experienced nurses and new graduates, with opportunities for professional growth and flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Both experienced nurses and new graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support (ACLS/PALS/NIHSS) may be required depending on the specific unit.
• Prior acute care or specialty experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, admit, and monitor patients, coordinating with physicians to deliver highly effective treatments.
• Safely administer medications and monitor patient responses continuously.
• Communicate updates clearly with family members and provide empathetic support during stressful moments.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure all patient charts and vital signs are accurately and promptly recorded in accordance with regulatory standards.
