About The Position

The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN), a member of Advocate Health Nursing Professional Governance community, provides high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes. Atrium Health Levine Children’s Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine are specialized outpatient pediatric clinics dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children and young adults from birth through age 21. Our multidisciplinary teams serve patients with congenital heart conditions, pediatric pulmonary disorders, and sleep-related concerns across a variety of specialty clinic locations. We are committed to delivering family-centered, developmentally appropriate care that supports the unique needs of each patient. Our collaborative care teams include pediatric cardiologists, pulmonologists, sleep medicine specialists, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and medical assistants. Together, we strive to improve health outcomes and quality of life for our patients through expert clinical care, education, and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Minimum of one years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
