Registered Nurse (RN) LDRP
About The Position
Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Unit in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This is a full-time night-shift role, with scheduled hours from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The Registered Nurse provides competent nursing care using the nursing process and critical thinking. The role follows standards of practice—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, care coordination, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation—and standards of professional performance, including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN applies clinical knowledge and skills appropriate to the specific clinical area.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing.
- Registered nursing license.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Women's health experience strongly preferred.
