About The Position
Avalon Care Center Tacoma is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide resident-centered nursing care at its Tacoma, Washington facility. The position is full-time, with 12-hour day shifts Sunday through Tuesday. New nurses are welcome to apply. Pay is $49.00–$56.29 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills. A shift differential of $2.00 per hour applies from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The role includes assessing residents, developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring health and clinical outcomes, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. The nurse also leads and supports CNAs and other nursing team members while delivering compassionate care. Requirements
- Current Washington State RN license or eligibility under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with a care team.

- Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings.
