About The Position

The Registered Nurse (Grant-Funded) position at Good Neighbor Society involves delivering nursing care, coordinating care delivery, and ensuring resident needs are met in accordance with professional standards, physician orders, center policies, and federal, state, and local guidelines. This role requires a currently licensed RN and includes supervisory responsibilities for nursing personnel.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed as an RN in the state.
  • One year prior nursing management experience preferred.
  • Ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.

  • Ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery to meet resident needs.
  • Supervise nursing personnel.

  • Transcribe physician's orders to resident's charts, cardex, medication/treatment cards, and care plans.
