About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at ASV Williamsport in Williamsport, IN. The position is full-time, working nights on a 3x12 schedule, with alternating holidays and weekends. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions, serve as a primary coordinator for patient care across disciplines, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Emergency Room Experience
• Updated CPR, ACLS, and PALS

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
