About The Position

The Hemodialysis RN is responsible for the direct nursing care and hemodialysis treatments on all assigned patients within the chronic hemodialysis unit. As a Team Leader, this role is responsible for the supervision of designated staff members. The position also involves assisting as needed with patient care and serving in a professional manner with an emphasis on quality care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registration with the Mississippi Board of Nursing.
• Ability to use a variety of physical motions in day-to-day activity including standing, turning, bending, stooping, lifting and climbing.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time without experiencing fatigue.
• Flexibility to role changes when assigned to function as Team Leader or Staff RN.
• Willingness to function as Charge Nurse when designated by Nursing Supervisor, Clinical Director, or Dialysis Administrator.
• Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and delegate duties to assigned personnel.

Nice To Haves

• One year of dialysis experience preferred.
