About The Position

RadNet is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a dedicated, team-focused group providing quality patient care in a clinical imaging setting. The role involves administering injections and monitoring patients, supporting biopsy follow-up and vascular access, and responding to patient reactions or injuries. The nurse is expected to safeguard patient health information, property, and medications, and to maintain professional, respectful relationships with patients, families, the public, and coworkers.

Requirements

• Current and appropriate state license(s) to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Current and valid ACLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Sound judgment and the ability to remain professional in all situations.
• Effective professional communication and interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Structured work approach, ability to understand complex problems, and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and monitor patients during and after administration.
• Perform post-biopsy vital sign checks when applicable.
• Access central lines and ports and initiate IV access.
• Draw laboratory specimens peripherally or through a central line.
• Assist with hypersensitivity reactions and provide preliminary examinations and vital signs in the event of an accident or injury at the center.
• Safeguard patient property and patient health information.
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on-site or in patient portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respond to their needs.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
