About The Position

As a nurse, you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety, physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness, while providing safe patient care. The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. This is a full-time night position in the Mom/Baby unit at Texas Health Flower Mound, a 99-bed facility known for its modern infrastructure, high-tech equipment, and a dedicated team of physicians and staff committed to providing the highest quality medical care.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree Nursing
1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
